That he did, Stern John scored the other 2.

Not the worst by quite some way, but Rudi Skacel would have to be the most disappointing. £1.6m (seemed a lot at the time) and all the hype only for him to turn out to be a bit average. The rest of these we didn't have high hopes for to underwhelm.

Steve de ridder has skill , pace , yes he doesnt have the final product and im not saying he is a great player but putting his name in the same list as some of the others mentioned in this thread is crazy ! thats why

exactly !! .....knowone is saying steve de ridder is an amazing player , but he is definately not in the same category as the others mentioned in this thread . There have been seasons watching saints where if steve de ridder was in the team he would look like messi in comparison to some !

Yes, but he at least allowed us to play a great song before each game .....
