in some game or other. Sadly we may never be able to settle his quality as it appears he has none. Else he may have had a chance by now
A very tough question and one we have tried to answer on a couple of occassions on this forum (no criticism on the thread as it's not been asked in a long while ). I always have to answer this in two parts. Someone who made a number of appearances and managed to prove how bad he was on a consistent basis and those who were so bad even the manager recognised it and only played due to injuries/suspension, being skint. Jermaine Wright for long term horror Ryan Smith for fleeting ****ness
Jheeez i forgot that bloke Ryan Smith existed. Decent on the old Footy managers though with pace of 18 and finishing of 17! How about a personaly least favourite of mine, Olly Lancashire?
Jermaine Wright?! never saw him make a run or even look like he cared about the club, awful player. as for Aaron Martin... nowhere near the worst and he can become a good player for us, bit unfair to knock him even though his performances haven't been great recently.
Lee Molyneux, the classic example of why not to judge a player based on youtube videos. Looks like a world beater on there, until you realise they are all videos from reserve team football.
Poor olly Lancashire..... he was poor for us, but I stood and watched him throw everything against us away to Wallsall last season. He put his boduy in the way of everything that night.... him and Fatty Walker
I also recall watching him throw everything at Q.P.R. Shame the first thing he threw was 2 feet, knee high...
This is a difficult question because the worst players, as you would expect, don't get a lot of games. However, we got to see quite a few crap players while we were struggling in the Championship, and Jermaine Wright was one who particularly annoyed me. Inigo Idiakez frustrated me sometimes as well, but talent-wise I suppose he wasn't too bad. How about most underrated player? Mario Licka for me.
Underrated i would have too say Chris Baird. The play off season i have never seen a team so dependant on one man as we were on him.
he was good that year, but I thought the team relied on a young 17 year old left back. Game after game we'd play everything through him.
Talent wise - not too bad? inigo was a quality technically gifted player. We just got him a little late and at the wrong time.
Hmm if im perfectly honest i don't think he was THAT impressive at left back, could always see him moving up to left midfield.
but we did play through him all the time.... marauding down the left ... like a left midfielder even then.
