My daughter asked me if that was the worst I'd seen spurs play...then I remembered that semi final away to Burnley in 2009...and the 5-1 semi final to chelsea...and the 4-3 v 10 man city...and the 7 nil v toon in the 90's and the 7 nil v liverpool and 5 nil at home to arsenal in 78.

As we some how went through I can smile at how **** we were and kind of pretend I don't think our season is about to go down the toilet.

So can anyone else remember other truly **** performances...any non spurs fans watching feel free to put your teams in too

Didn't we lose 6-0 away to Ipswich once? I have tried to erase that from my memory but I'm sure we did!
The thing about tonight was that I finally thought our team was beyond those pathetic performances of old but sadly it looks like Spurs will always be like this in my life. At least we're not boring hey?

I'll go for Spurs 0 Blackburn 4 on the final day of the 2002/3 season. We were so poor that day it could have been 20 nil. 4-0 definitely flatterd us. Season tickets were thrown on the pitch in disgust, which was a pointless protest given it was the last game of the season, but the point was made. If Hoddle loved our club as much as he claimed, then he should have resigned that day because it was a really dire display. There was a European place up for grabs that day, they got it and we didn't. It was awful.

That one is well up there!!
Losing to Blackburn in the 2002 LC final was a hugely disappointing performance overall - if I recall Poll was partly responsible... and losing to Burnley after being 2-0 at the end of the 2009/10 season is also up there, although the game was meaningless n itself.
Going back a while, but there was a defeat against Derby at home in the FA Cup in 1972(?) that was pretty dismal.

In that game Luke (which I was at) Spurs were great first half and United were appalling. It was the complete opposite second half. United did have some great players in that team so it wasn't the worst performance.

Every time that we picked Ben Alnwick and played Burnley, conceding 4 times in each game.
The semi-final 2nd leg of the Carling cup against them was truly awful.

Far too many bad performances that I can remember seeing.
Bolton away in the league cup,1-6
Newcastle away FA cup, 1-6
Arsenal home 0-5
Are 3 of the worst I've been at.

The one that sticks out though was Port Vale in the FA cup in '88. Truly shocking performance that one!

The 4-0 loss to Southampton in the FA Cup back in 2003 was probably the worst. We played our first team, in our usual system, yet never turned up.

My youngest was born 4 days before that match and it was played on my birthday...my brother was over from europe where he lived at the time and we were all happily sitting round with my 5 yr old girl, baby daughter and mrs colinlee and watched southampton tears us apart...we were really bad at times under hoddle

I remember that HBIC. It was a teatime game on BBC 1 I think and so was being watched by a bigger audience than a sky match and it was a 4-0 annihilation by Southampton. It could have been about 10 how superior they were to us that day.

the year we lost to Blackburn in the league cup final I seem to remember us getting battered quite a few times in the next few matches...I think we lost 4 nil to united and chelsea in the league and 4 nil to chelsea in the league...**** knows why I started this thread <laugh>

The best and worst live performances for me both occurred on New Year's Day

4-1 against Man Utd in 1996 and 1-0 against Fulham in 2011 (we won despite being ****)

As for Hoddle he was an inferior version of Redknapp with his love of past it English players at the expense of actual talent like Rebrov
