Is ER's Beatles bitterness down to the fact that sheep seem to like Paul McCartney far better than they like him? He had an album called Ram for a start then there were all the appalling songs about sheep that only Aberdeen fans could possibly listen to. It's just jealousy plain and simple.
Any of the Mick bands tbf. Never considered The Beatles to be a made up boy band, very much rooted in hard work early on in their career. Try and tell the fops of today that they needed to do four sets a night at the Star Club and they'd spit out their Frappuccinos. The Monkees were a made up boy band but I still like them, they may not have written or played on all their own songs but they had some excellent choons.
