The Mel Gibson film Signs is utter, utter pi$$ flap$. Why would these aliens who hate H20 fly millions of lightyears across time and space to take over a planet which is 2/3 covered by water. These lads (the aliens) utilise technology and weapons that are unheard of to the human race in order to conquer planets the universe over and strip their resources yet Ol' Mel manages to defeat them using a bag of spuds and a rounders bat. From Lethal Weapon, to Signs, to Anti-Semitism: The Strange Story of Mel Gibson is available at WH Smith from Friday.
"Double Team" with Jean Claude Van Damme. Simply Appalling, makes his other films look like Citizen Kane by comparison. Terrible turns by Mickey Rourke who phoned in his part and Denis Rodman who makes a plank of wood look worthy of an Oscar. Last year I had the misfortune of seeing "Outlaw" with Sean Bean. Almost as bad as Double Team.
I too had the misfortune of watching that. However, Sean Bean was far from the worst thing in it. Ladies and gentlemen I give you Danny Dyer, the ****est actor since Roger Moore
Lost in Translation Cloverfield Minority Report Vanilla Sky Four terrible films off the top of my head I've had the misfortune to sit through. I didnt think it could get worse than that until I went to the pictures to see Unstoppable, **** me what a pile of ****e that was. I wanted to leave and try and save the night in the pub but my missus said we should see if it gets better. Soon as the fucking train stopped I was out of there.
Green Street has an amazing scene with Hobbit boy trying to smoke a ciggy looking hard, incredibly unconvincing
Roger Moore is Olivier and Brando rolled into one when compered to Danny Dyer, can ANYONE explain how this talentless oxygen thief can make a living and how can he even be classed as an actor???
I was flicking through the tv guide last night, and noticed Flightplan was on. I seen it years ago on one of my Global Sundays, where we would rent a few movies out, get stocked up on ****e food and watch the movies. I was ready to put my foot through the tv, it was that ****e. To whoever said One Missed Call I seen that a year and a half ago and it was awful....up until the point when the missus started blowing my trumpet
Flightplan is awful awful awful. I'm all for suspension of disbelief but that film kicks the arse out of it it is so ludicrous.
Agreed, Sean Bean was probably average but even Bob Hoskins was terrible, as for Danny Dire, how the **** does this guy get work?
