Even Luiz into Defence and then Lampard into midfield. Would never happen but it'd be interesting to see if it worked out.
Maybe they should let us have Gomez then!! Or what about a cheeky one for Robben?? Been on the bench a lot and would give us natural width with Hazard on the other flank. That said, I think de bruyne should get a chance next year.
The bottom line is that we were the best team by a mile up until the United home game. We lost to an offside goal whilst down to 9 men. Instead of taking the positives from the game, dusting ourselves down and coming back stronger. (as true champions do). We made an accusation against the ref that would never be proven in a million years and get more bad press. The wheels come off and the slide begins. Will our club ever learn?
De Bryne looks a class act to me. We should play these talented youngsters instead of constantly sending them out on loan.

Dead right. We are a team in transition and are really just a couple of key players off being top drawer. Just hope the transition doesn't go on for another 7 years, but with RA it just might !!
Not sure how you can blame the club for that. Rightly or wrongly Ramires told Mikel he heard him called a name with racial overtones. The club once it was told acted completely to the letter of the FA Rules and reported it to the relevant authorities. What happened was not great and definitely disrupted the team but can you imagine how things would have panned out had the club ignored one of it's employees and tried to sweep it under the carpet. Things would have been much worse than they were had that come out. I think you're totally wrong to blame the club for that and would like to hear how you think things should have been dealt with.
I am all for playing 433.I think it is a better system,especially at home,than 4231 but I just don't think we currently have the right personnel to play it. The midfield 3 have to be equally defensively minded as they are attacking otherwise it is easy to get over run one side or the other. Ramires is almost the perfect player for it on the right but none of our current squad is imo good enough for the left. In fact I can't see we have anyone to play it than Bertrand who is essentially a lb not a midfielder.
My point was that no proof was available. The only people privvy to what was said were the lino's and 4th official. They were never going to drop Clattenberg in it even if he said it. Ramires understanding of English would have also been called into question. Club should have slept on it and made a decision when evryone had calmed down.
