    This.

I personally don't think Lampard and Oscar can play in the same team, too similar and waste of a position.

Oscar, Ramires and Luiz as the midfield 3 and Mata, Hazard and Striker as the front 3.

So Oscar would have to be left of the central 3? Don't see that at all tbh.

With Benitez we need a 4-8-6 to stand a chance. :(

At the beginning of the season you lot were unstoppable...you're performance at whl was outstanding...with the same set of players .... Its weird how its gone wrong in the CL and title fight....but you are still 3rd and pretty much assured a top 4 spot in my opinion. I hope we get to play you in the final....would make for a great match (as long as it don't end up like last years semi)

We really need a new center back. Honestly, we can survive in the other positions with what we have but not in defense. Ideally, I'd like to see Azpi - Luiz - Hummels - Cole with Ramires - Mikel - Oscar ahead of them. Long shot though.

Probably the worst Chelsea team I have seen since RA took over. When was the last time you were this far behind in the league, and failed to get past the 1st knockout stage in Europe.

Biggest problem is you've brought in all this small ticka tacka players, trying to play like Barcelona. The problem is Hazard Oscar and Mata, are not in the same class as Xavi, Iniesta and Fabregas.

Playing that way aswell means you have no plan B. you have no width and no strength and power up front, so when the passing game doesn't work, your snookered

I just can't see Oscar on the left of a middle 3 at all. With Mata ahead of him teams would walk down that side with little opposition.Wouldn't work at all.

Xavi and Iniesta were no better than Hazard and Oscar at their age now and Mata is just as good if not better than Fabregas. We are in transition and this team has the ability to be a great team in 2-3 years time with the right striker and time to adjust to the P.L. Oscar is 20 FFS and has come from a South American league - he's over achieving if anything.

Stop on but some seem to think it should be winning everything now.

I think he's suggesting Mikel and Ramieres holding with Oscar in the number 10 role; hazard and Mata wide.

Not bad. I'd also like to see Oscar given a chance as a more deeper midfielder and maybe put Ramieres back on the right where he was so good last season (or De Bruyne taking one of the wide slots next year).

So not a 433 then but a 4213....I thought we were discussing 433 which is why I picked it out as not working. So we're back to the 2 DM's that we were trying to get away from and moaning about.

    I was proposing this

    Azpillicueta - Luiz - Hummels - Cole
    Ramires - Mikel - Oscar

Oscar has the highest defence work rate of our trio - I reckon he'd suit that role, and its more akin to his role for Brazil.

True in regards Hazard and Oscar, though not sure Mata is quite at Fabregas's level. I think you need a striker with abit of size and power about them. I actually think Dzecko would do quite well for you guys

I prefer Mata to Fibreglass - mainly because of attitude more than anything else.

He doesn't play on the left of a 3 for Brazil. I can see teams having free reign on that side with just Mata in front of him. If we're going for a 3 then Bertrand is imo the only option for the left side.

I like your train of thought but I still think the 3 in midfield frees up Mikel like he plays for Nigeria. I don't think we'd be as vulnerable as you suggest.

Not a bad shout re Dzeko. I also like Lewandowski (sic) and obviously Cavani but neither would come cheap. Or...Lukaku!
