I like Siggy and I think he fits our style, he is certainly worth more than £2m- £3M I'd probably put him about £5M. I'd have him back but it would depend on who is playing alongside him.
Agree with this.

Taylor played first team before Davies in the Premier bap666 , Vorm hardly played last season with Tremmell standing in very well , throw in Fab and I think we're stable without Vorm. As for Bony , for the money Huw is paying Gomis , Gomis better be a reasonable facsimile of Bony .

Running a football club isn't about "making big money" by selling your best players if you're solvent. It's about playing entertaining football and winning matches to maintain your status. I have no problem with Bony going to a top four side as he's earned that chance but anything else and we should dig our heels in and hold him to his contract.
As for Sigurdsson, those of us who have watched the Swans for long enough recognise that there are certain players who just 'fit' with us and perform better than they would elsewhere. I don't put Bony in that bracket but Siggy I certainly do. Because of the way we play and the position he's likely to play he'd be a huge asset imo. £10M is over-egging it but around £6M sounds right.

When he was with us Dai. His contribution in the second half of the season really helped push us to safety. I'd agree with a $6-7 price tag. Certainly would tell Spurs to shove it if they expect Vorm and Taylor as a Siggy swap.
I like Siggy, but let me ask you a question. He came here in our first season of promotion. We didnt have the quality of players we have now in central midfield. Could it be he looked a good player because he was better than what we had then. So whilst he was an improvement on our team then, would he be now, I think he would struggle to find a regular starting place now, If we dont lose anyone.

The way Taylor played when he was in the team last season shows he's no where close to the quality of Ben Davies and probably not up to Premier League standard any more.
Refusing players who have chosen other teams is the way fans think - but management shouldn't. If they did Leon wouldn't be here.
As for "Could it be he looked a good player because he was better than what we had then" Don't think so. He looked a good player because he was and is. Able to run with the ball, beat a man, cross the ball and take excellent free kicks. That ability doesn't disappear overnight imo. A shadow of his former self at Spurs because he wasn't given a regular run and played out of position at times. If that sounds familiar it is - I've lost count of players who've played well here then been average elsewhere. For all our failings we do tend to get the best out of whoever plays here.
For the right price it's a no brainer for me, particularly as I have a feeling JDG is off back to his parent club.
You're also being a tad unfair to Taylor imo. Hardly got a kick having come back from a bad injury now all of a sudden he's not up to the Prem? Don't buy that.

Bony was unproven if you call the Dutch league the same as the french league but Bony fared well in his first Premier season . If a player hasnt played in the Premier of course he isnt proven , doesnt mean he wont shine , if Bony leaves his replacement makes a better wage .. its gotta say something .Not sure what people expected out of Taylor after being out injured then riding the bench when he came back . Didnt here to many complaints about Taylor before he was injured , just praise . Tremmel and Fab are almost equal to Vorm imo , so if some team comes waving money for Vorm .. TAKE IT I say
