I can't see why Danny Rose didn't get drafted in on the left. He's left-sided, quick, and can score goals.

I couldn't understand why Rose wasn't introduced once we went behind and Jones was on a yellow.
Remove one of our holding players, probably Sandro because of his exceptionally soft yellow card, move Modric inside and get at their exposed looking full-backs.
Waiting until we were 3-0 down and had 10 minutes left was just ludicrous.

  3. I've seen the Harry post-match interview, in which he expresses his surprise that we lost the game. He points out that we were all over United, and that it was two lapses that gave them their first two goals. I suspect that may be true, rather than any ineptitude on the part of Harry, but it's still galling. It also shows, rather starkly, why United win titles and we don't even get close.

As has been pointed out, and Harry forgets to mention, whilst we may have had the lion's share of the possession, we actually very rarely threatened.

I'm not much more or less worried than I was before the game--though I am disappointed since any hope of first or second place seem to be by the board--if it was ever realistic. Two losses in two key games is never good. It also happens to teams all the time. If Spurs can't react well to adversity, well, there's no helping us.

I was thinking about this, and realizing third, obviously, is ideal at this point--then realizing that fourth behind Chelsea, as far as I'm concerned, would be fine, while I just don't know about fourth behind Arsenal. I would have been overjoyed at the start of the season, but now the thought of finishing behind Arsenal is really unappetizing. I'm hoping the players feel the same way....

Having more of the ball doesn't win your games - contrary to some Gooners trilling about it when we beat them 2-1 a couple of season back - scoring goals does. Keeping the ball is only useful if you're 2-0 up with ten minutes to go.

  7. If the Goons manage to finish above us, we'll never hear the end of it. They will act as though they have done the EPL/CL double, and I am certain that PESKIE will go down on all fours and gobble Jayram off before a seated crowd of sour-faced nuns, with his arse bared to display the face of Whinger tattooed onto his cheeks.

That is not something that I think I could bare to witness, quite frankly.
