Dull team 6 Only Iran 1. BTW Iran are 20 the in the FIFA rankings. France were 18th when they won it. Croatia were 20th when they reached the final. Still, it’s only Iran lads.

    a penalty, eh?

i've always said that EVERY corner should result in a penalty. stick them all in front of var and there's always and everytime something that could be given as a penalty or defensive free kick. it's been ignored for decades. and it's almost always a coin flip as to which way the kick goes.

Interesting that 5 out of 6 of our goals were scored by BAME players. Where are the monkey noise makers and banana throwers today?

Have England fans been throwing bananas at our players and making monkey noises? Seem to have missed that.,Though Eastern Europeans in ex communist countries band fans in countries in the wonderful EU have.

Think he's referring to what happened after the euros final. Not sure it was banana throwing or monkey noises but some of the black lads got a fair amount of racist abuse in the aftermath.

Whatever the different kinds of abuse people had it was to do with frustration at the loss and not the Eastern European frustration that black players are on the pitch in the first place.

Regardless of what happens elsewhere it's still not good is it?

What's the relevance of what happens in Eastern Europe?

Because the do it for purely racist reasons. The don’t want want lack players in their country or their team. Google te actions some have taken when their team have signed a black player.

I don't need convincing that there are places in the world with more overt racism is part of the culture, but don't think we can dismiss a wrong here just because its more wrong elsewhere. Don't see the significance of Eastern Europe in relation to England players being racially abused in England by English 'fans'. .
