I'm supporting England Robbie. Should, a big should, they win the damn thing it can only be good for Prem and EFL clubs.

And a shot in the arm for the whole UK, when it's needed most.

Going to hide in my nuclear bunker now as many on here will disagree with me.

However I think the England run will end on Saturday.
to right they will get stuffed 3-0

The England v France game is so hard to call. France have arguably the 2 best footballers on the planet in Mbappe and Giroud - but the rest of their squad is very good, but not great.
England can’t touch Mbappe, but the squad is pretty balanced and averaged out is probably better overall (sum of the parts etc).
Plus France have been beaten already this WC whereas England has not
It’s been a cup of upsets so far so anything can happen.
Heart says 2-1 England
Head says 2-2 and penalties <yikes> and then who knows!!!

Having a duvet day today.
Laid low with a lurgy Thursday evening. Barely moved since.
Mrs remote knows Im ill. Ive stopped eating.

Slept through most of the first game yesterday, saw bits of extra time and penalties.
Similar for the 2nd game, though listened if not watched a chunk of the 2nd half.
Streamed it on my phone.

Woke up this morning to a sugar coating of snow. Nipped to the loo then another hour of zzzzzzs. When I next looked out there was 3/4 inch of fluffy snow everywhere.

Hopefully can muster the energy to watch / listen / read this afternoon and evenings games.

Lots of sleep, lots of water please.
Hope you're fully recovered soon.

Well sadly it does go to penalties which is a farce. Whoever wins now would be IMO somewhat hollow champions.

They should replay on Wednesday.

At Hartlepool. In a hail storm. Sort out the men from the boys.

All things considered, a very good 4 weeks of football. Full of shocks, surprises, some excellent football and great bunches of fans from many countries.

Yes, pens not great but heightens the sense of drama.

The Argies are worthy winners and Mbappe will get at least 2 more goes at winning it.
