I have major fears for this years cup.

Russian fans will almost certainly target the England Fans. i see a team being kicked out this time maybe even us. but what do fans do if the Russkies turn up start some grief and do a runner just like in the Euros, then all the press sees are English "yobs"

The English would be crazy to go looking for trouble with the Russian Ultras. Although the Ultras may well go looking for them, although i would assume the Russians will be better trained at dealing with their own supporters on home territory. Best advice stay at home or at least keep your shirt out of sight and behave yourselves.

Depending on the outcome of the poisoning incident there are mutterings of the team not playing in Russia.

The whole poisoning scandal really could make this summer very difficult. P***ing off a country with a lot more bigger sticks than us along with being the host nation of this year's world cup could really make life very uncomfortable for the England boys and fans. Difficult times ahead I feel.

It has been reported that England have only sold half the amount of tickets compared to 4 years ago, with some suggestion this is due to reports of extreme violence facing England supporters that attend.

I imagine another part of that is due to the poor football that fans have suffered under Southgate and Hodgson. Attendances have been falling at Wembley recently so even without the problems Russia would cause, it was highly likely there would be less fans travelling anyway.
