the past has no bearing on the future game.

28.in a row.. great.

but how does that equate to England are sure to beat Sweden?

surely you take the game on its merits.. and btw England should have little to fear off Sweden

imo you need to look at exactly what games they are and see if a lot are qualifiers v lower teams or is he that great he turns England into top team.

it's the same as the stat that every game kane captains he scores... who did he score against?

would he have scored 100% v Belgium etc etc.

these are just stats and runs that end sometime.
The stat was about Henderson first, England second. It's not supposed to equate to anything other than what it is and certainly no indicator of future performances. Take it for what it is - an interesting fact.

Work for me on a PC. <ok>
Someone said recently - ''why don't those videos work?'' - so I know it's not just me. The ones posted on here are just blank; the ones posted elsewhere on the net, ask me for permission ... or some such ..... probably the new privacy settings or geo-location [which I always refuse], or something else <laugh>

So Vardy was injured in extra time, hence didn’t take a penalty. At least that explains his absence.

Potentially both he and Kane might be injured for the Sweden game....I guess that would leave Rashford up front?

I suppose a lot of questions were asked why not.

FA just cutting them out.

For me i don't think he quit fits this system of southgate really so rashford will come in

Kane will be there no matter how unfit.
Questions must be asked on alli

other must be carrying knocks after that game last night too.

they will all want to be in the QF so i imagine it will be about getting through that and finding who is really ready.

There is definitely a hit and miss. I have had it too.

Its not only the privacy laws

sometimes they work sometimes they don't.

What about Sterling? He's played like a headless chicken in all the games I've seen. He really doesn't seem effective.

Klaim is a great goal scorer, but not a great footballer. However with all the media love in....he has scored 3 penalties, a deflection that clearly wasn't his, a rebound from Stones' header that was already in and a 1 good finish to beat Tunisia. He has already got the golden boot wrapped up with those goals, so good for him.

Nah. He had an okay game apart from Penno.

Was under the pump when we were under pressure and Dier didn’t help either as we dropped back more and more. See Ja606 for a more balanced opinion. Still limited but important for the system.

You said... "The only one making forward runs was Maguire"

I responded with..."Hendo?"

You clearly hate the guy but to ignore the fact that Hendo was STILL running at the very end when everyone else had stopped? He even ran into the channel ffs

Why? He might as well have let the Colombian shot in since he's so weak at corners. Both GKs saved the same pens and the crossbar put us through.
What he did in the game made a significant difference. You know my general thoughts on him as a keeper but sometimes you have to call it as it is.

Jordan Henderson is going to miss the next game. He must not be considered to take penalties
in the future.

Why not? It didn't do Stuart Pearce any harm. And Henderson has the humungous balls necessary to do so.

By that logic, anybody who misses a penalty or has one saved in any game should never be allowed to take one again, which would slowly eradicate every player in a squad, until you're subbing on a janitor at Stoke to take a pen.

His crime is playing for us.
