The WC always gets people watching and talking about football ...... for all of 4 weeks, then it's back to reality.
Yup.. said the same in previous post... and if Southgate is actually a product of the FA centre ... it actually looks good. The younger national teams have been playing with swagger.... lots of youth picked by Southgate.... and if they have the balls... keep picking the younger players as they come through the international ranks no matter their clubs. .. picking the few that struggle into the big 6 hasn't worked .... pick the English players that have played throughout the international system...
Quite frankly it's what the Spanish and Germans did... the PL teams will pick them up based on it rather than other way around and consistency the whole way .... win win win
please mate, Maguire is 10x the player Lovren is. Can do everything lovren can defensively but he also doesn't **** the bed on the ball and is pretty comfortable on it.

thought southgate was poor. No Plan B and basically played klopp football (tbf its quite refreshing rather than poor passing footie) when our players go 100 mph in first half and are gassed out in the 2nd half. I think the reason we made it that far is because we played loads of **** teams really

He's pretty good on the ball. Dunno how well he'll play if he has space to defend behind. I agree he wouldn't be worth the money you have to pay for him though, he's not an elite defender but leicester would want stupid prices
