Wahbi Khazri has made the Tunisian World Cup squad....

Tunisia have announced their squad for the World Cup in Russia, where they will play England in their opening game.

The 23-man party is dominated by players based in Africa, Saudi Arabia and France, although there are two names who will be recognisable to fans of English football.

Leicester defender Yohan Benalouane makes head coach Nabil Maaloul's squad, as does Wahbi Khazri, the Sunderland forward who spent this season on loan at French side Rennes.

Yohan Benalouane made just one Premier League appearance this season
Maaloul had chosen to name a provisional 29-man squad ahead of the World Cup, but has now cut six names ahead of the FIFA deadline.

Bilel Mohsni, who spent the last two months of the season with Dundee United, is one of the players to have been left out of the final Tunisia squad.

The north African side are playing in their first World Cup in 12 years, and Maaloul believes his side "have what it takes to get past the first round".

Tunisia begin their campaign against England on June 18, before matches against Belgium and Panama in Group G.
