What is it with the Polish mentality that they appear to play on another plane of existence to the game they're currently playing? It's not just in today's game where they didn;t appear to realise they were 2-0 down, let alone 2-1 down with five minutes to go so it was possible to get something out of the game, but it was a constant in their Euro 2012 campaign where their refusal to turn the screw cost them a win against Greece, which was soon followed by finishing bottom of their group by being as casual against the Czechs when it was 0-0 as they were when they went 1-0 down.

I agree. His potential is enormous and on his day he's already a monster. He's only played 3 seasons at centre back, at 3 different clubs, in 3 different countries. That's an awful lot to cope with at any age and he's doing really well. By the time he's 26 or 27, he'll be some player.

Yeah he makes mistakes and has a lot to learn but give him a few more years and he will be good enough for any team in the world.
