Was just going to have this on in the background but i'll watch just to see if Brazil can get another deserved pounding.

All of this reminded me of Grauniad dick-riding Brazilian and Chelsea players in that top 100 footballers in the world list (circa 2012). So many Premier League and Bundesliga players ignored over these overrated players.

...
Unless David Luiz changes his position permanently to DM he should surely be remembered as one of the most overrated defenders in recent memory. I really don't know how so much hype has been built on such a shambolic defender (Guardian put him in their top 100 players <yikes>). He makes our leftbacks look composed.

...
David Luiz isn't a defender but he is an exceptional footballer. Guardian list comprised of top 100 footballers not defenders.

As for Luiz he's been a victim of a media witch hunt for the last 12 months so its only fair he gets some credit where it's due.

That is ridiculous, he's played only 1 or 2 games as something other than a defender. That list had practically every Brazilian playing in Europe whose name wasn't too hard to spell.

Germany should destroy them without any shadow of a doubt so.........

given that the Argentine squad are the luckiest bastards in the whole competition, they will win one nil , with a goal scored in the 91st min .

:emoticon-0112-wonde

The argy ****s will drag the game into penalties imo.

Germany are by FAR the better side but it's worth noting ..

Messi scored more than the entire Germany starting 11 last season.

(And this was a bad season for Messi)

Captivating first half, game swung one way to the other. Very open and surprised we've not seen a goal yet. Higuain should have buried that chance though .. Really looking forward to the second half.

Argentina are looking for a second yellow through Messi. I think Germany are going to score until that happens.

Ozil is looking really good btw.
