For their next trick, watch Suarez' ban get reduced as soon as he joins Barca

There are rumours that the ban has already been reduced.

I think you will find that Ozil is a very technical player, who helps his team win as much off the ball as on it. Also as much from what he can do with the ball, as opposed to what he does do with the ball. Very like Beckham did, he helps you win games just by walking onto the pitch, because teams have to make sacrifices tactically to neutralize him.

The nice thing about this sort of player is that "form" matters far less.

Will be cheering the Germans on tomorrow night. Wonder how long the Brazilians will be allowed to kick lumps out of the Germans though.

Looks like Low is on the war path again. He's trying to lower the preferential treatment that the Brazilian team is getting this world cup. Good idea.

Germany coach Joachim Low wants Mexican referee Marco Antonio Rodriguez to take a tough line in tonight's semi-final in Belo Horizonte.

Brazil's 2-1 win over Colombia in the quarter-finals had more fouls than any other match in the tournament.

"I hope the referee, Mr Rodriguez from Mexico, will clamp down on things," Low says.
"That physical energy in the match against Colombia went beyond the limits in Europe. In Europe, 22 players wouldn't have ended that match.

"Colombia against Brazil was a real fight with numerous fouls from both sides, not just the one foul against Neymar. You have to protect the players."

Ze Germans could beat Brazil's fully fit team and now they have a depleted Brazil to beat. As long as they don't bottle it an FIFA doesn't pull any ****ery they should have this. 2-0 German win IMO

Klose scoring the winner today while at the same time surpassing Ronaldo's scoring tally would be such a great moment of poetic justice.

That's the thing, they aren't just playing Brazil, they have to deal with the home fans as well as the officials who will cockblock them at every turn. Throw FIFA in there who are desperately ****ing to their dream Brazil/Argentina final.. they need all the luck they can get.

If it stays goalless till near the end I would love to see Germany take the game 1-0 up and lock the game down the last 5-10 minutes, just so I could listen to the annoying Brazilians do that shrill whistling **** for the rest of the game, knowing that their divine right to the final is being taken away from them.

I think Brazil are going to miss Thiago more than Neymar tonight.
