That was never a penalty for me Musty. Clear dive. Sickening to see such a thing being celebrated like he had done something wonderful. 2 World Cup goals in 3 World Cup appearances for Bony (2 starts and 1 sub). in total he played about 2 hours of World Cup football and scored 2....so an average of a goal an hour. People can't argue with that record....although on UK TV at least pundits preferred to go on about his perceived "poor touch". Bony was the hero of that game and had it robbed from him by a cheating bastard is how I see it.
Never a penalty and IC were robbed. Being honest, Bony's touch WAS pants when usually it's pretty good. His hold up play wasn't great either and he seemed to lose possession much more than usual. However, his positional sense was spot on and he reaped his reward when he did what he was there to do... score. The guy has a natural ability to find the net and might have done even better had the IC not been so obsessed with playing to the "big" names (Toure and Drogba etc) often ignoring Bony when he had taken up a good position. Hoping against hope that the big man will still be with us next season.
