How did he get executed?

How did he get executed?

He didn’t. Starmer intervened on the day of execution and he’s now in a three bed in Ealing.

After being convicted, Mesfewi was initially sentenced to be crucified on May 2, 1906. Due to international outcry, the sentence was changed to beheading.[3]However, public sentiment in Marrakeshwas for him to suffer, so every day for four weeks he was led from his cell into the market square and lashed ten times with a rod made from thorny acacia.[1] It was finally decided because of the heinous nature of his crimes and as a warning for all, Mesfewi would be walled up alive in the Marrakesh bazaar on June 11, 1906.[2]

The cell was made by two masons who created a hole in the bazaar's thick walls about 2 ft (0.61 m) deep and wide and about 6 ft (1.8 m) high. Chains were fixed to the back wall to ensure Mesfewi did not attempt to escape and to keep him standing. On the day his sentence was carried out, Mesfewi screamed for mercy and fought with his jailers when he was led to the cell.[1] After he had been chained up, bystanders threw filth and offal at him. The masons then came forward and began laying courses of masonry to brick up the opening. After his entombment, the crowd cheered every time they heard him scream inside.[1] Mesfewi could be heard for two days before falling silent on the third day

Didn't know there was supposed to be a theme, I just picked the only famous Belgian I knew outside of footballers. Such a pointless country.

Though I'm pretty sure he was responsible for millions of deaths so reckon I'm winning on that front.

Mesfewi's sentence underwent multiple revisions due to public outrage and external geopolitical pressures:
 • Initial Sentence: He was originally sentenced to be crucified on May 2, 1906.
 • Diplomatic Intervention: Foreign diplomats and officials stationed in Morocco protested the crucifixion, viewing it as archaic and inhumane. The sentence was briefly changed to beheading.
 • Public Outrage: Public sentiment in Marrakesh demanded a far more severe, agonizing punishment to serve as a proper warning.
 • Pre-execution Torture: For several weeks leading up to his execution, Mesfewi was led into the public market square every day and lashed 10 times with thorny acacia switches.
 • Immurement: On June 11, 1906, Mesfewi was taken to the Marrakesh bazaar. He was placed inside a standing, body-sized cavity built into the masonry wall and walled up alive. His screams could be heard from inside the marketplace for two days until he succumbed to dehydration and passed away on June 13
