I've said for a while, I think within a couple of seasons Martinez may get the Barca/ Real job. I think he's that good. Started the Swansea "revolution", done wonders with Wigan to keep them up for as long as he did (plus FA Cup), got Everton above us (not that it was hard ) and his brand of football is fantastic despite working on shoe string budgets. Superb manager, seems a decent bloke too.
If you're going to say Wilshere shouldn't be in the squad, don't suggest Carrick as an alternative. He's had an awful season, doesn't deserve to be anywhere near the team. I wouldn't have taken Chamberlain personally
What annoyed me with the AVB appointment more than anything is many Spurs fans had the feeling he wouldn't work out here, some gave him the benefit of the doubt while others (admittedly myself) just "knew" it wasn't going to work out, his time at Chelsea was a warning and his inexperience was a concern. I'm not sure what Levy & Co. saw in him that made them feel he was the right man for us. Not saying we know more than the people in the game but that was an appointment that most felt was wrong and eventually proved us right.

I'd have taken Hudd over Carrick or Wilshere after this season personally. Why wouldn't you take Chamberlain?
Yeah Hudd should've gone. Deep down I had a feeling it was mistake a letting him go, no one in the league has his passing range when it comes to long distant, pin-point balls to feet.
Reports coming out of Uruguay saying Goofy injured. He is to undergo a knee operation today and is out for 4 to 6 weeks.
That applies to half of the England squad. How Cleverly even made the back up list just astonishes me. At least Oxocube has genuine talent.
