For me yes. Anyway, GOOD NEWS EVERYONE (and a point for the cartoon reference). I have just noticed that I have a high chance of missing at least the start of the final as it is almost guaranteed my cheap holiday flight to Mallorca will be delayed, because they always are. If everything is on time (flight, smooth trip though immigration and baggage pick up, no issues with hire car) I might have a slim chance of getting a beer by kick off. This makes it a certainty that England are in it. I am happy to make this sacrifice for the nation.
I for one am actually enjoying this so far. Some brilliant games and some serious upsets! Far more exciting than recent World Cups! France yesterday were amazing, think they are now the team to beat! England well we never really know, but think we stand a decent chance if Southgate plays the right team. There is a chance here for us, first time in many years! Fingers crossed for Tuesday, if we win that who knows!
