Great stuff, tried to play proper football against robust opposition, looked very good at times. First game always the toughest, rusty, high expectations. The subs were positive, I thought Henderson was excellent tonight, Pickford had absolutely nothing to do. Stones and Maguire May look risky but they can bring the ball forward under control, and if you want to play football you need defenders like that. I’d start Rose next time and probably Rashford, keep the faith, attack with the ball under control.
A much much better performance than at recent tournaments. Just need more chances to fall to Kane. A much better header than it looked. Great result.
That should get them through the group stages..as Panama were worse... Two matches to learn from. Hopefully we can learn... Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk
That was brilliant. My 2-1 England correct score in, easy peasy. Kane to add a couple more against Panama and one of the favourites to become top scorer imo.
Well done England. A lot of potential here, I reckon. Loftus-Cheek looks decent, Trippier too. The quick passing phase was great and is how we must play. Frustrating when we don't have an option and are facing the wrong way. Did anyone notice the early Tommy Robinson songs, which seemed to get muted? I enjoyed that more than any England game in recent history.
Good to say that after some previous experiences. Well done England Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk
The introductions Rashford and Loftus-Cheek gave us a big lift, and both could have played their way into the starting eleven. Maguire looked better in the second half, too.
Maguire looked better because Tunisia hardly crossed the half-way line. I think he could have a problem against the likes of Hazard and de Bruyne
After a great start, England went decidedly flat. But credit for battling and getting a result and three points. I am sure that Tunisia were gutted. I hope that they can build on this result.
Yes, he looked better going forward. He's admitted to nerves in the first half so let's hope he settles
