Yeah, we'd have had no chance against Germany, or Argentina, or Spain. Oh, wait a minute, they were all ****, perhaps we might have beaten them after all. The thing is, we are far from world-beaters, but Southgate has this group playing better football than we have seen from an England side for a long time.
