Was it just me or did anyone else think that looked a bit easyish. Once we scored we never looked like losing. Not predicting we will beat Croatia in the next one but have to say they didn't look unbeatable on tonight performance. In it to win it and we are still there so anything can happen.

Strangely I was never nervous about this one. We looked in control and Pickford's 2 brilliant saves put me well and truly at ease. Wasn't impressed with Croatia tonight so hopeful for a final against France or Belgium. Not sure which one I would prefer

Think Croatia will prove sterner opposition than Sweden but I'm not as worried as I might have been. As for France or Belgium either of them would start as favourites whether they were playing us or Croatia in a final. Not been impressed with France particularly but they also don't seem to have been troubled much. Belgium can be vulnerable as they've shown but again they haven't looked much like losing either. Even at 2 down against Japan I always thought they could come back. We may well not win it but we also shouldn't be scared of anyone either.

Croatia will be our toughest test yet but they will be worried about the pace we have all over the field

Having just seen the goals Russia scored against Croatia you have to fancy England getting a couple as well. How did five Russian defenders fail to stop the first Croatia goal.

We are now into the semi finals so there can't be any Wally's left so Sterling is safe and I'll like to announce the winners firstly the team prize goes to the Germans as expected their trophy is waiting for them in my showers and the individual winner is Neymar we will be rolling out the red carpet for him to roll down and collect his trophy

Disappointing doesn't even begin to cover it. We went to sleep a couple of times and paid heavily. What was Stones doing for their second? He seemed to just switch off completely. Ref was crap, lino was crap and Hoddle was crap a a co-commentator. Sterling will get pilloried no doubt but for me he did ok throughout. Missed chances yes of course but so did a few others including Kane. He did tie up a couple of their defenders as he has in previous games giving space for others. They crapped themselves every time he went on a run. Think that was the job he was given and he did it. Trippier was England man of the tournament for me. Absolute great games for one so young. If he doesn't get spoilt by some idiot coach somewhere then he will be some player as he matures a bit.

Happy as anything at half time. Then it all went wrong. Really depressed and felt the outcome soon after the second half started. Have now lost all interest

You mean you're not gonna watch the 3rd 4th place play off Ron <laugh>.on a serious note we played well first half and should have been 2 up but we didn't defend well enough 2nd half and they took advantage. We only got that far because the luck of the draw and the first decent side we met dumped us out.promising signs though for the next couple of tournaments with the players we have coming through

That first decent side were only in the lead for 11mins out of 120, as with a lot of football games it was a game of two halves, at half-time I think most would agree they was only one team going to score. What ever was said in the Croatia dreesing room at half-time we never really had an answer.

As the Croatian said before the game, it was the first time they had come across a formation like ours and it will take some time to get to grips with it. I think it took about 45 mins. After that there was only going to be one winner. They snuffed out our attack, won the mid field and were more creative in attack. Our only hope was that they tired from their previous exertions but they didn't. In the end they turned out comfortable winners. I hope they beat France 3-0 now but I can't see it

As you say Ron Croatia looked in the first half as though they had played two extra time games. They finished the stronger. France will do to Croatia what they did to Belgium score one goal then manage the game till full time. France have had an extra days rest plus a far easier encounter against Belgium.

I had the choice today of either going shopping with her indoors or watch the game. I hate shopping so I watched the game. Wish I'd gone shopping now. What a lily livered load of crap that was. You could count on 2 fingers those worth the shirt today and then use the same fingers to show what you thought of the rest of them. They just looked like they would rather be anywhere, shopping probably with my missus, than be on that pitch. Sorry Rocky but the Spurs players were pants. Kane was non existent all game. He was supposed to be the Captain but showed no leadership or heart in the game at all. Not a leader I'm afraid. MOM and for the whole tournament where England were involved was Trippier. Pity the rest of them couldn't show the same commitment and desire.
