**** the English - no idea what Welsh patriot painted that but the dragon is facing the wrong way
Feels like we play Andorra or San Marino everytime , absolutely pointless fixtures unless your Harry Kane trying to set an uncatchable target

So this would be Dane’s with a Faroes Passport I take it.Not if you’re San Marino or Andorra they’re not. As somebody who supports the Faroes internationally, it’s good for our players to get the chance to test ourselves against quality opposition and give us something to aim for. Getting tanked 8-0 by Germany might suck, but beating Austria, Greece (twice) and even Armenia is a pretty big achievement.
Plus, if England ended up in a qualifying system akin to the Nations League and had to play Spain, France, Germany and Portugal home and away, England fans would hate it and claim it was unfair (despite the fact that other federations do have more balanced qualifying).
I guess it’s a chance for England to give out caps to players who probably wouldn’t make it to the finals anyway.
Speaking of, we’ve got Croatia at home tomorrow at Tórsvøllur and then Gibraltar away, the latter we’ve already beaten. If it weren’t for an 85th minute winner, we’d have a point against the Czech Republic as well. Baby steps, but progress nonetheless.
