Adrian Chiles looked very bored tonight.

Got home from work at half 8 and some of the lines he said were actually mildly amusing, such as:

'So what shall we talk about now...?'

'Shall we just watch some goals for the hell of it...?'

Not a massive fan of Chiles, but he did manage to keep the discussion going and was amusing. Cancellation of a game with the need to fill in acres of air time is a presenter's nightmare.

Oh what a night to miss an England game and to be working in Germany!! Sat in the hotel bar was quite amusing last night as Sweden came from 4 nil down to equalise in the 94th minute!

I got a few funny looks as I leapt up and cheered as the equaliser flew in.... I might have overstepped the mark though when I unveiled my "Adambanana was Right - Free the Portuguese One!" banner

Sounds like you haven't rated him for Saints. I think he's been very good for us.

What's he done that you haven't approved of?

I think he's been one of our best players this season - my comment was in response to a previous comment along the lines of his presence helped the Ireland (or something like that), and I hoped he could do the same for us, bearing in mind we've only won one

ah, it was a positive negative... I get it now. Wondered why someone was having a pop at him, but you weren't.

Everyone stand down. Move along. Nothing to see here. These are not the droids we are looking for.

Davis did miss what would have been a spectacular own goal...so a step in the right direction for Saints.

Needing a draw to advance, Canada battled to an 8-1 defeat. That's Canadian football at its finest.

No doubt they'll shut the roof. Horses and stable doors spring to mind!

They can only close it if it stops raining, so there's probably no need to!

They shut the roof last night and it's staying firmly shut, despite the fact that it's not forecast to rain today!

I'd much rather Ox on the left and Cleverly in the middle
