    Hi, I've been asked if i'm doing a world cup thread this time around, so i have come up with the following idea...

    From all the World Cup games below, simply predict the winners of each game, all correct outcomes receive one point.

    You can select your choices all at once or if you want to make it more fun, make individual choices just before the game once you get to know the teams better.

    There are 48 games to start with so 48 points available in the first stage. Remember to predict before a game.

    I will apply the same rules throughout the competition unless i state otherwise, so don't wait for me to prompt people to pick the teams in the latter stages, if i'm not around continue to make your selections.

    As i say it's up to you when you make your selections, if you arrive to the competition late you can still participate as there is plenty of points up for grabs;

    You know me brb, I like to play the outsider, not only that there were only 3 of us in the competition, so I was guaranteed to finish in 3rd place. :emoticon-0140-rofl:

    Resurgam was robbed of a point by a brilliant own goal <laugh> in the 95th minute which saw Iran pull off the first shock of the tournament.

    Big game of the day, Portugal v Spain next.

    Peru were unlucky. Despite grumpygit getting the correct outcome in that game, the point has been applied but VAR says he stays bottom <laugh>

    Last of todays game to go Croatia v Nigeria tonight.
