At the end of last season Tramore stepped down from running the Prediction League after brilliantly running it for the past 3 or 4 years. These are big shoes to step in to and no-one put their heads above the barricade to offer to take over, so I am going to have an attempt at it.
However, I thought it might be an idea to have a bit of a trial run first though, to see how it goes. So I am going to try and run a World Cup prediction league, more as a learning curve for me.
I am not quite sure how to do it as the group stages matches are near on continuous for the first two weeks, but will think of some cunning plan (e.g. choosing one match from each group, per stage/round and then every match from then on) but any other ideas would be very much appreciated.
So watch out for this upcoming exciting event, it is a plan to keep you all occupied even after England makes their early ignominious exit. Perhaps we can find our own Paul the Octopus!
