Seems like the fourth officials are logging every minute of the game with a brief that every goal, substitution, free kick, throw in and injury has a set time to restart ... eg a goal scored with 4 mins on the clock will restart after 1 minute .. so goal scored on 85th minute will start the clock which has been "restarted" from minute 86... so a celebration that takes the clock to say 87/88 mins will have those 2 mins added ... 10 throw ins that take 20 secs longer than, would add at least 3mins etc etc often so far how many minutes added has been shown on the dot of 90 or momentarily after when in normal games can be 89th minute onward!!!

I want to applaud Canada who performed brilliantly, although in a 0-1 loss, and shocked the pundits who were surprised to see such a good performance from one of the out-siders in the competition. Yesterday we lost the game but earned respect for our show in the face of supposedly overwhelming odds when we took the game to some of the best players out there which, at times, dazzled the second ranked team in the World Cup. Well done lads and now on to your 1st World Cup goal and perhaps sneak a spot in the next round? No matter what happens from here you made us so proud in the true North strong and free.
