Yep.The team that are known for starting tournaments better than anyone else since the 80's?
I know. Just pulling bluey up on his scratch n sniff.
Yeah of course you were.Apart from Portugal v Spain and Germany v Mexico, I’ve been unimpressed with the world cup thus far.

Yeah, it gives some hope to the lesser teams. Still think the usual suspects will prevail though. Mexico looked a decent side tbf.Yeah deff, the favourites struggling as well which is always nice to see.

Germany will be there or thereabouts, ****ers always are.
Argentina, Spain, not sure about Brazil....
(not you ... obviously
) ... but Muller, Khedira, Hummels and even Boateng (the grey hair dye didn't help) looked absolutely knackered ... Mexico's game plan was brilliant in fairness ... but I can now se why the Germans have been struggling in the run up to this World Cup.... Lowe has some big problems to surmount ... and why the **** he left Sane out I don't know ... now seems bonkers ...... before watching that yesterday i would have agreed fully with you NSIS... but what was apparent yesterday is that many of the Germans look old and tired ... Muller looks older than me ffs(not you ... obviously

People are going on about the Sane thing a lot but they don't watch his rivals and they have plenty of options and pace that can play in there instead of Sane.
Mexico played deep which took away the ability of the Germans to run in behind with the pace they have.
just wished they had more of the countless counter attacks they had & handed out a proper hammering.Yeah, it gives some hope to the lesser teams. Still think the usual suspects will prevail though. Mexico looked a decent side tbf.
Agreed, i thought the Germans looked good on the ball when they were playing about but what they missed was someone with the x factor and defensive disciplined.
All of them were so eager to attack they looked so open at the back constantly leaving 3 on 3 and no defence in the world is going to handle that with all that space in behind and the pace of that mexican attack.
likewise, they moved the ball well, made decent runs but no one to attack the ball in the middle or who could swivel turn and shoot.
I think they'll be alright but they can't be playing that gung ho as the mexicans got through again and again. That midfield of theirs is too slow to recover and Thomas Muller has dropped of a cliff in the past few years in terms of what he was
the lack of cover at the back reminded me of watching us last season when one punt out of defence could leave us wide open.Agreed, i thought the Germans looked good on the ball when they were playing about but what they missed was someone with the x factor and defensive disciplined.
