In all fairness they used to bring on a couple of City players when we weren't much better off than North End....

Surprisingly entertaining. I can see Australia grabbing an equaliser.

This has probably been the most entertaining game, to be fair.

    Proper end to end stuff.

The Netherlands game was brilliant, but it was all Netherlands in the second half.

Not read through this thread but a few observations from what I've seen today:

Mexico looked good and should have been a few up by half time. Missed the second half. Their left winger kept getting in behind but couldn't cross for ****.

This Oar lad playing on the wing for Australia is the same, his left foot seems to mishit everything. The match is good though. Also Matt Ryan in their goal, isn't he the one we werre looking at a year or two ago? Played for some Australian side with 'Mariners' in their name?

The football so far has been brilliant, the only complaint from me is the few big decisions which have gone against the same teams; Mexico seemed to get a raw deal and Croatia were just plain robbed.

    Yes, I thought the same.

Australia are playing well considering the pool of players they have to pick from. Leckie, Bresciano and Cahill have been decent. They need to get more crosses into Cahill - he wins everything in the box.
