Saw a report saying that the Democratic House Leader has arranged with Marco Rubio for the Cape Verde goal keeper’s mum to be granted a visa and be allowed to travel in time for her to see Vozinha’s next game.
Best result of the tournament so far.
You watch... he'll probably let in 5 now!

Gotta say the atmosphere didn't seem all that intimidating in Mexico's first game either. FIFA have priced out the normal match-going Mexicans, and therefore it's the more privileged, 'tourist' type of fans filling the stadium. Tickets for Mexico's games are even more expensive than the tickets being sold in the US and Canada. Mexico vs South Korea has the most expensive tickets of the entire group stage.
Been to a few Mexico games when in America. Gold Cup in Chicago and NYC and their fans were wild! Didn't get that vibe in their first match tbh

Cant see either of these side winning their last game so Scotland will be hoping it stays like this.

That's true but most of their opponents were teams like Honduras, El Salvador, Costa Rica etc. The altitude would be our main concern but we'd prepare ourselves for it.
How will they 'prepare' for altitude, in the next one or two weeks? Travel everywhere by double decker bus? Sleep on the top floor of their hotel? Preparing for altitude is not something that can be done quickly, or taken lightly. In my opinion, of course, which isn't worth the paper it's not written on.

I'm not proposing anything dramatic - simply have 2 or 3 training sessions at the same or similar altitude as the Azteca. They're not climbing Everest. But at least training at the same altitude will help to some extent.

Reactions: Lemons and Oranges
I see the BBC have an "as it stands" scenario for the last 32. Clearly it's going to change but I'd be up for some of those games!
