A bit dodgy at the back but could have scored many more in that second half. It was a great response after HT and we played with the sort of intensity you see in the Premier League. Very good result.

Yep. Under Southgate that’s a 1-1 game. In which we were lucky to even get that.
Too casual around our own box. I don’t really blame the defenders when the midfield allows the opposition to win the ball regularly in our own third.

I think that ropey 1st half has actually done us a lot of good. In some ways it has galvanised the team. We are a better team for being **** in that 1st half.

As with Saints I try not to get roped in by the odd good game, but that was a good result against decent opposition to play for the first game and in that second half we played considerably better than I expected, the Croatia keeper kept that score down.
But still better to not get carried away, its a long tournament with a lot of tough teams. Defence needs work, still feel Guehi should start over Stones.

Today may be the first day I won't bother watching any games. The Canada game kicks off too late and the other 2 games look like being complete ****e. On the plus side the Friday and Saturday games look good.
Yeah I might need to recharge the enthusiasm batteries by giving today a miss. Prob miss absolute classics now!
I still haven't watched a game at all. I'm a go to bed early get up early kind of person and didn't even bother staying up for the England game last night. That might change when we get past the group stages as I assumed England would get through. The only live football from the WC I've seen is I tuned in to the end of the Canada game and saw Larins goal.
I'll probably tune into South Africa vs Czech Republic as both need to win really.
Yeah the more teams that finish 3rd place on 3 points, the greater the chances of Scotland not progressing. So a win for either of these would be funny.
