Just watched the highlights and couldn't believe how bad some of their defending was given they had an excellent defensive record in qualifying.
They've clearly been bribed by the US. Expect a huge infrastructure project, based in Paraguay, to be announced in a few days, underwritten by Trump. But that would suggest that America actually cares about the World Cup.

Yeah possibly the occasion and then having the worst possible start with the own goal. It'll be interesting to see how they get on in their other games.
Qatar Switzerland a bit meh but Brazil Morocco should be decent. Should finish at 1 so not too horrific.
Gutted that Scotland game is middle of night as really wanted to watch that. Feels like basically their entire tournament rests on this game.

Getting very oranje over here, plenty of flags, pennants and bunting on display, I'll dig out my appropriately coloured kit. May watch in my local which will be rammed full or more likely on my sofa with cold beer and snacks to hand. Doing my best to ignore the shadow of Trump and Infantino, a few ice cold jenevers along with the beer will help with that.

It's been reported England have their boots back, now fill them on Wednesday.
Haven’t watched a game yet. Might take an interest eventually, but probably not until England need to beat a team of postmen to get out of their group.
