Ideal group would be:

Greece
Montenegro
Hungary
Scotland
Faroes
Andorra

Group we got looks pretty open. Could finish first to fifth, which probably means we will beat croatia and lose to macadonia!!!! Belgium have some good young players so expect them to be abit inconsistent given the reliance on youth.
 
Croatia - Sprinkled with class acts like Modric, Jelavic, Niko Kranjcar, Eduardo and Olic.

Serbia - Not as well known players but still got guys like Vidic, Kolarov and Stankovic.

Belguim - When I was growing up, the belgians had a decent team, they fell away for a while but seem to be getting better with guys like Vermallen and Kompany, but they have a really young squad.

Macedonia - On paper, no great shakes, though they have Pandev of Inter.

Wales - Horrific fall from grace for them under Toshak, still, they beat us 4-0 and 3-0 and have Bellamy, Ramsey and Bale amongst others who can hurt us.

I reckon we'll fail again <ok>
 
Everyone seems to be writing off Belgium in this group, which I just dont get. Between the likes of Lukaku (15mill bid from chelski recently), Defour, and Eden Hazard who just won player of the year with Lille while winning Ligue 1, they are a great side who will only get better.

I honestly think our best bet here is to finish above macedonia and wales...

Who wrote off Belguim?

They are on their way back to the top of European football.

I still reckon we can beat any of these teams at Hampden, but away from home is where we'll struggle. especially with Levein in charge.
 
don,t take the piss out of wales, not nice
mainly because wales just like northern ireland, ireland and of course england have all made it through the group stages of a world cup.
