Notice how we got the Pot 2 slot and the French who by virtue of being the lowest ranked European team avoided it and then got one of the easiest groups. I guess that was pure luck and nothing to do with that English hating c•*t Platini being involved, once again it stinks of corruption, if this type of corruption carries on much longer the World Cup will become as irrelevant as the Eurovision Song Contest

Whilst the draw wasn't the kindest, the sequence of the games could not be better, in Italy first and Costa Rica last, at least we go in to that game knowing what we will require. I can see the England, Italy, Uruguay games all being draws so GD against Costa Rica will be the most likely determinate for advancement out of the groups.

Bollocks I was hoping we would avoid the group of death. Oh well it will be nice for one of these little countries to have a go at winning. It's boring to always be winners <ok>

Personally, I can see us losing those first two games, making the Rica game meaningless- Might not do us any harm, in the long run. The England team has lost its way as a world force and we almost need to go back to the drawing board, a bit like Germany did a few years ago.
