But I also think France's defence may struggle with Morocco on the break. I shall be cheering (quietly) for Morocco but will put my money on France. I can see Morocco trying for penalties during the 90 mins, for a team like France to give away two & a possible third in 90 minutes shows they were panacking

The best team won it in the end, just goes to show you can not always sit back Argentina very happy to see the game out at 2-0 & it nearly blew up in their faces. Mbappe didn't show up for 80mins or I thiught in the England game either, has more nerve than Kane though to score 3 penalties in a game & his second was also a great goal. He only played for 40mins.
My son messaged me and waxed lyrical about the game. I think it must just be me but I have to say I wasn't impressed with either side and thought it was a game for blatant cheating and diving all over the place. The older I get the more it winds me up to watch and I lose interest in what I'm watching. I had visitors on that day and was happy to have it on in the background and only take a passing interest in what was happening. I guess it's just the way the game is going now and cheating is becoming an acceptable part of winning. The pundits generally think so with their comments like "he was entitled to go down after he felt a touch". If only my Missus had been that willing years ago.........
