L’Equipe reporting that Norway are putting the reserves out. Second place gets Ivory Coast in the next round and then probably Brazil but that game is in four days so makes sense. A shame though.

Norway have conceded the game and given up the probably slightly better last 32 and then Germany rather than Brazil after that. Still, probably would have been smashed. France basically full strength so it’s Senegal v Iraq to knock out Scotland.

That front 4 for France is about as good as I've ever seen at International level ... and no exaggeration ... and I've seen every Worldie Cup since 1970 ... (saw the 66 final too but was a bit too young to really understand much more than 'we won')
 
As good as the French forwards have been, their defence doesn't look all that... and I'd have fancied Haaland to have notched the 2 chances that have fallen to Strand-Larsen...
