Moved from there to Arsenal last season.
All I really know is he came on against West Ham (I think) when Declan Rice moved to right back, and they completely lost their shape and no longer dominated the game. Bit unfair to blame that on him maybe.
Yeah that was more to do with moving Rice to RB because of an injury
Arteta swapped him back into MF when he saw it wasn't working tbf
Madueke is one of those players who'd definitely got a moment of absolute class in him, he can skin defenders and he can finish
He just doesn't do it often enough.
He does tend to play better for England. Against old man Perisic maybe it makes sense. Plenty of pace out wide and running beyond Kane if not much end product.
This tournament might suit him
A small number of games up against some donkey Left backs
Could be one of those players who makes a big impact.
Doing over 38 games of a league season has been where he's been found wanting.
