oh this is going to be an absolute **** show and games could last hours based on that Club World Cup thingy due to heat and lightning breaks - one of the games had a pitchside temp of 48 degrees at KO

I haven't been interested in the World Cup for a long time. I'd like all our players to do well for their countries and that's it.
I prefer them to do poorly so they get a longer break but won't moan about their success either.
Think we've only got about six players going atm.

As fans we can be selfish in not wanting our players injured while away and also wanting them more rested for the sake of our season but the players themselves want to do well and I want that for them.

Salah is in the preliminary Egypt squad, but they havent done their final squad yet. Can't see him not being picked. Holland and Argentina havent named any squads yet. But I would guess, Mac, Grave, VvD and Gakpo will be going and probably Frimpong as well
Just 11 players going and 3 of those wont be Liverpool players by the end of the tournament.
That leaves: Mama, Kerkez, Szobo, Jones, Gomez, Frimpong, Chiesa and the kids, as the ones getting a full holiday and pre-season. Jacquet to arrive as well (not in France squad)

I was going to do one at work but didn't for the same reason. I did consider just allocating groups to people instead but couldn't be arsed in the end.
is that the world cup when Keegan said someone had dived despite being blatantly elbowed by a Brazilian (Leonardo ?) and when showed replay went "see never touched him" and after a number of replays it went approx "well maybe grazed him but that was all" to "ok yeah he caught him but he is making a meal of it " to "games gone if you get a red for that "
the other players jaw was broken so the women may well be a step up
Imagine the cost of that lot. Waffle don't come cheap.
