I like that attitude. How often will they get a chance to have a crack at a World Cup? Might as well go out in a blaze of glory whilst seeing how far it gets you.

We'd have probably won an major tournament over the last 8 years if we'd had that attitude (England, I'm talking about).

True. I've regularly moaned in the past that Southgate always seemed to play with the handbrake on, Tuchel not only took the handbrake off but cut the cable and backed our players to outplay the opposition, the perfect antidote to the spoilers...
