Sympathy to GB News newsreader Polly Middlehurst who got stitched up by whichever dimwit put the football news on the autocue on Wednesday night. Apparently England will be playing Slovenia on Sunday in the last sixteen round of the European Championship.
I hope somebody has told Slovakia that they are now playing Portugal on Monday. Maybe the dimwit was looking at Tuesday’s results.
Back in the real world, have Slovakia got five players that can take penalties? If so, then it is their turn to knock England out. Both teams could spare us 120 minutes of boredom first by just having the shootout at 5pm BST.
