I feel that India or a nation in SE Asia such as Thailand,
if interested, should at least be considered for "logistics"
analysis (optimal climate, minimal disruption to general
global domestic seasons etc) .

Yeah huge landmass and plenty of big stadiums. I think there would be a real party atmosphere there. The last 4/5 world cups haven’t really done it for me
