Southgate got us back to playing Southgate-ball.

Mount and Saka have been awful (though most haven’t much better), Foden and Grealish need to come on.

All the players that played so well on Monday have been distinctly average tonight. We still lack real pace in our side and the States have it in abundance lucky to not be behind but equally we have cut them open a couple of times and could have scored ourselves, a bit more quality in the final third and more bravery required.
