I have to admit I was quite distracted during the Pol/Mex game (as a visit to the music thread may show!), only looking up when the commentators sounded interested (though with Keown on duty that was hard to detect) so maybe got a slightly distorted view.

I'm surprised Eng have not got more injuries, the Iranians were leaving the foot in all through the game and the ref did nothing , apart from the highlighted injury Kane had a couple and so did Trippier, Mount and Rice

I agree but I think that Southgate will play Rashford from the left with Sterling more central, but playing the 3 (with Saka) of them in a fluid front 3.

The other thing that I could see him doing his play Foden as a false 9 either way if Kane is ruled out I don't expect Wilson to start.
