Personally, when he said their "culture" i felt he was talking about football and football only. Physicality is a style/culture. Ian wright says that about (insert any south American team) and its not a problem cos we all know cheating part of their football culture. Like being **** is part of England football culture
I think that there are a lot more Welsh women and children in the traveling fanbase so I think we'd edge it in a fight.
Responding on Sunday morning, Klinsmann - a World Cup winner with Germany in 1990 - told BBC Breakfast: "There was stuff really taken out of context. I will try to give him a call and calm things down. "I have never criticised Carlos or the Iranian bench. Some even thought I was criticising the referee because he didn't do anything about the way they were behaving on the bench. "All I described was their emotional way of doing things, which is actually admirable in a certain way. The whole bench lives the game. They're jumping up and down and Carlos is a very emotional coach, he's constantly on the sidelines trying to give his players all his energy and direction."
I agree with Luv. He merely chose the wrong word, simple as that. The presenter and other pundits were not helping him, hence why he kept repeating the word and got stuck in a rut, because no one corrected him. He should have just said it's cheating, much like Prem players cheat most weeks by diving in the box but as the Iranians showed if you are smart enough, you don't get caught. Anyone that saw the old tactics of Anderlect and Juventus in the European Cup will know exactly what is going on. We even had our very own crazy gang, maybe he should have called them crazy instead.
To be fair, I don’t know what the bbc were going on about after the game. They were implying that Iran got away with some potential red card challenges then showed a couple nothing incidents. Trying to find excuses for Wales being utterly ****e
Yea, i didn't watch the game but the incidents they showed in that video above all those were normal challenges pretty much. I don't know what they were getting upset about except to give excuses to the welsh. The likes of Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw get away with far worse
