When they equalised they just looked like a machine. And then the drama of Burrachaga scoring the winner in the last few minutes to win 3-2. The atmosphere in Mexico was incredible as well.

No it's not, it's determined if you win a World Cup or not, Cryuff didn't, he was a runner-up....you know bit like how Newcastle are always runners ups and never winners, that's not determined by birth place either. That's like saying Klopp was born in Liverpool!

can't see anyone who has ever said Kane is a world great but there are loads who think Cruyff was including me and from the same generation Gerd Muller was the best penalty area striker ever imo .
Cruyff was good, I did actually support Netherlands in the final, which was probably not a good sign for them....didn't they go 1-0 up against the Germans? Gerd Muller, de bomber just stuck in memory for his goal scoring ability, and not via penalties on the main stage with him either. Although it is penalties now, Mbappe still looks quite scary for the future and I can't remember the last time I felt like that about a player.
