Get the feeling that if France go two up Uruguay will revert to 1978 when they kicked teams off the park!

Interview with Bierhoff after this match on ZDF - they are bigging it up, sounds like he isn’t going to mince his words and will say that Özil and Gundogan should have been left at home after their meeting with Erdogan.

I’m half expecting him to quote my prediction on here before it all started - “Zat shrewdie Oddy, he knew” <laugh>

My son said he would sing a song if we beat Columbia and we thought FFS Anyway, he came up with this and we all joined in. Subscribe, like and share and let's see if we can get it to Russia.

Stand by for a bloodbath! France should be thinking of getting Griezmann and Mbappe off after seventy minutes (at the latest).

You certainly did. Why didn't Bierhoff say something before the squad left for Russia on those two Turks? He really is a characterless and unworthy member of the German management team, as I mentioned to BK today in a PM. Please see related article on the t-online.de website. German FA should chuck the prat out.

A workmanlike and professional performance by France today, against a very dirty and cynical team. Loris was outstanding.

Let her go to Ikea – you can watch the football in peace. Tell her when she has bought the flat-pack furniture to ask to speak to Barbara Petersen. She must be an expert in such things because in the end credits of ‘Diagnosis Murder’, it says that she does Dick Van Dyke’s Wardrobe.

Then you can lock the missus in the wardrobe for the start of the football season – much cheaper than a divorce lawyer. <laugh>

I stand corrected. I should have counted them rather than going off the top of my head – the middle one in the hat-trick was a penalty as well as the first. <doh>

If Stevie Wonder had not refereed the Tunisia game, he would have had a couple there too.

Ninety minutes play, I presume. They always do look seriously tempting and frequently afterwards they are seriously regrettable.

The whole tournament we have been told how poor Russia are but they are still in it whilst the likes of the Argentinians and Germans have gone home. We expect Croatia to win but we expected Spain to win as well. Russia on the handicap gives me the draw and the slight chance of Russia causing the upset.

Ollie Kahn giving him a real hard time on squad selection (why the hell wasnt Sane selected) and team selection (particularly Neuer after his injury). Sounds like there was no unity in the squad between those who were World Champions (and therefore first names on the team sheet) and the young, hungry players trying to break into the team. The Özil thing was apparently a misquote, doesn’t regret taking him.

Crikey a like just for effort would be appreciated lads. A lot of hard work because FIFA blocked a few better versions and commentaries had to be removed. The filming of us lot trying to record the singing (????) in time with the video was ****ing hilarious. Wish we had videoed that <laugh>

Who gives a flying **** which way the bloody penalties go, as long as they go in. Analyses not required, waste of time.
