Whatever happened to all those criminal investigations into FIFA? Surely the FBI and the Swiss authorities haven't been nobbled?

Today was bore score day in the games. Everyone a 1 - 0 result and the bits I saw were a lot less than impressive. I think the Iranians might have taken time out to pray every few minutes. Having said that the Spanish have had more than their fair share of faking it over time. You sometimes get what you give in buckets though.

It was a good watch for the neutral. Actually game of the tournament so far for me including the Spain v Portugal draw. It had a bit of everything including a lot of very dubious tackling and throwing oneself to the ground without contact. The Argentinians got what they often dish out which was roughed up. They did not like it one bit and some of the leaving of a foot in and follow up kicks was a pleasure to watch. The sort that makes you wince and go OOOOOOOOOOoooooo!!! I have to say I haven't seen a world cup game scoreline that made me more pleased. Thought the Ref did well in this one because it was always going to be difficult.

 

That was a good game 2great goals by musa.. All nigeria need to do is draw with the argies and they go home..

Well start blowing them for a 4 nil win tomorrow for England
